Spotlight on the BookSpotlight on the Book Once a week on Wednesdays the library sponsors Spotlight on the Book. Students are featured on the morning announcements talking about favorite books they have read. The students give short book talks telling just enough about their book to get other people interested. So far we have had 19 students present fascinating book talks. Some of the books presented were Officer Buckle and Gloria, Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, Crossing Jordan, Summer of the Sea Serpent, Among the Enemy, Found, and Call of the Wild to name just a few. The book presented is then put on display in the library along with the student’s name that did the presentation. |
